Great Rio Carnival night at the K Club, Eyre Square. Pumping tunes, great vibe. Everyone loved the face painting. All the guys wanted tribal tatoos around their eyes and on their arms. Not sure if it went with the carnival theme but they were happy. All the girls wanted something pretty around their eyes. Got to do some cool designs on a few shoulders. Can’t wait for the next club night.
I’ve face painted my neighbor’s daughter many times. As my neighbor is nearly due to give birth to her 3rd child she asked me to paint her bump and take photos as a special memory. I really enjoyed doing it. I went for a roses, butterfly and rainbow theme as she is having another little girl. I was really pleased with the end result. I really hope I get to paint more pregnant bumps!
Summer is well and truly over and I had a great summer face painting. Painted at a little girl’s birthday party this weekend. Lots of faries and butterflies. Pink was definitely the favourite colour.
I haven’t been very good at updating my blog but from now on I’ll be blogging regularly.
Face painted lots of happy faces on Sunday at the Kirov Orphanage Reunion. First time driving from Galway to Athlone on the M6, solo. What a doddle. Usually you have to have eyes everywhere if you’re on the old Dublin road. There’s always some lunatic doing something crazy.
Drove at the speed limit going, consequently the car basically drank the petrol. Kept a slightly slower pace returning to Galway and this made a huge difference to my petrol consumption.
Anyway, looking forward to St Paddy’s Day. Busy practising my shamrocks. Fingers crossed it’s not wet.
Just updated a page on my main website with a new photo of a Rainbow butterfly so if you click the blue link you can see the photo.
Face Painting at a birthday party for a little girl at a creche on Thursday. Took some great pictures but silly me accidentally deleted them off my new camera, which tells me I must be more careful next time.
I’m working on a new Tiger Face so will post the photo’s soon
Had a great day yesterday (Sunday 27th February 2011) face painting at the GAA Tuam Stadium for the Galway – v – Mayo football match. Really sunny day took some photos when I could as was rushed off my feet for 2 hours.
Here are some Galway fans…
Tuam seems to be a busy place as I have more face painting there next Sunday
